Sunday to Wednesday… Ring candy!
A rare find this one – got it at Accessorize at Dubai Mall and it is the design of a South African coin
The most beautiful shade of aqua-torq. A street market buy in New York
Trusted Aussie brand Diva, this is one of my fave’s!
The one (and only) problem with my ring fetish is how to store them. I plan on going ring holder hunting this weekend – for cases/ things that can display them and conveniently pack them away

A catch up on rings of the week…
all little finds, with the lion a true reminder of Africa.
It was also a week of interesting events. Katch launched UK brands Delada and Spiritual Gypsy in Dubai at the fab multi-brand boutique – O Concept in Jumeirah. My pick of the day – Delada’s evening dresses made with the skin of sting rays. The texture felt as amazing as it looked – giving off various shades of grey and silver with an abstract core based pattern.
Jewellery designer, Emma, of Spiritual Gypsy shared her eastern inspired pieces and gentle, beautiful aura with all in attendance
and then there were those delicious rose shaped cakes as part of a delish spread by the O team
From the designer launch to the stylish birthday bash of Cosmopolitan Magazine
The ensemble of choice was sparkly black sequin tights, a pleated flair style top in my fave shade of green paired with leopard print loubi’s. For a change I went with a vintage gold neckpiece, and of course – the big ring
Thursday came with its very own superlicious surprise, as I was greeted with a familiar face when I got to work – dad dropped into town
The weekend was set to be a fun and relaxing one with his lively spirit around, much needed after the work week that had just gone by.

Friday night was a feast for the celeb appetite with 2 big names in one venue. Roberto arrived for dinner in his (usual) black ensemble and snazzy slightly heeled suede shoes; and Leona brisked in and out performing 2 songs and mingling with us for a short time. Have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed her performance.
With the fab chef Mr Francesco…
And the beautiful…
Her second song had blue and purple balloon balls bouncing around the stage…. pretty, very pretty!
My feet were in agony by 3am, but the music was amazing and the night a great duo-success.
